Recording With Frank Sinatra: 1973 Interview With Dave Cavanaugh, Director of A&R at Capitol Records
In this 1973 interview conducted for the syndicated radio special PROJECT SINATRA, disc jockey/radio host PAUL COMPTON interviews Capitol Records producer (and later president) DAVE CAVANAUGH regarding working with Frank Sinatra in the recording studio. Cavanaugh produced the landmark 1958 Frank Sinatra album ONLY THE LONELY as well as COME DANCE WITH ME (for which Cavanaugh won a Grammy Award) and several others. The audio is from the original 1973 reel tape provided to Ric Ross who assisted in the preparation of this radio special.
