Renaissance, Bethel University’s Performing Arts Experience, showcases the Vocal, Instrumental, Theatrical, and Production talents of our students. Bethel University recognizes the importance of the arts. The Renaissance Program serves as an integral part of community and church relations for our University. Not only do our students get the chance to perform and grow both musically and professionally, they receive substantial scholarships for their participation and commitment to the process of fulfilling the vision of this incredible program. Another unique and critical aspect of our program is that students have the ability to develop their skills and talents while earning a degree in a major of their choice. We strive to empower our students to uplift, inspire, and entertain through ministry and performance opportunities. Our approach provides hands-on learning that places students into real-world experiences. Whether singing or acting in front of thousands of people, operating a sound or lighting board, building a set for a musical, or playing a wide variety of instruments in our marching band, we will provide an experience that will prepare you for your future. When students arrive with talent, we reward them with opportunity! JOIN THE FAMILY Auditions are scheduled Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Students may audition for multiple divisions of the Renaissance Program, but will have to choose to participate in only one. If you are interested in a campus tour, please make us aware of that when you are scheduling your audition so we can make arrangements with the Enrollment Staff. Renaissance rehearses Monday through Friday from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Not all groups will use the entire time, and certain times of the year will be busier than others.
