How the Cast of Angels in America Couldn't Not Come to Broadway
Andrew Garfield and his fellow Tony nominees reflect on their journey with the theatrical Mount Everest. Marianne Elliott's revival of Tony Kushner's epic masterpiece, Angels in America, has made Broadway history with 11 Tony nominations — the most of any play in Tony Awards history. Among those nominees are Andrew Garfield, Denise Gough, Susan Brown, and Nathan Lane, who spoke about their journey from London's West End to Broadway. It was a trip few of them wanted to take, but one they knew they had to. Needless to say, we're glad they did.
