If Trump Dismantles the Dept. of Education, Who Will Pay the Biggest Price? | Amanpour and Company
In President Trump's first term, it was a proposal. Now, steps are being taken to make it a reality. Could it be a new executive order will spell the end of the Department of Education? As a member of the House Education Committee and a former public school teacher, Democratic Congresswoman Jahana Hayes is doing everything she can to protect the millions of students who rely on DOE programs. Hayes was recently among a group of lawmakers denied entry into the DOE by armed security guards. She joins Michel Martin to discuss the consequences of Trump's plan.
