SMC A52 Ceiling Fan | Studio Remake

SMC A52 52" ceiling fan in textured brown/polished nickel. It was originally brown with polished brass, but the yellow-tinted lacquer overlay was disintegrating and completely fell apart while initially trying to clean it. The blade arms were the worst, which unfortunately damaged the underlying nickel finish and faded it a bit, but they look pretty good on the video. Otherwise it came out better than I could've expected when cleaning started going awry. This video definitely shows off the silver tones of the finish vastly better than the original, where it still came off a bit yellow due to the surrounding environment. As mentioned in the first video's description, it's a less-seen finish combo, but other manufacturers have made it before, and it oddly kind of works. Appearance aside, it's pretty typical period SMC. Built great, performance is good, bearings don't have any major issues. Noisy because of the variable speed, and a slight wobble that wasn't severe enough that I wanted to waste any time balancing. I love an A52 in just about any format, so this one is no exception, and I like it even more thanks to the finish fault.
