In this home visit I was pleasantly surprised on many levels. I was given a beautiful gift by one of my viewers, Yoli. It’s an amazing custom made garden bench made by craftsman, Dave Garcia. On my way to pick up the bench, I discovered that Dave has been growing a specific type of Dendrobium all over his 1 1/4 acre property. Among other orchids, David has successfully grown them on trees for several years. These beauties are massive in size. It’s very impressive to see the potential of an orchid when grown the natural way with barely any care. Dave shares other garden specialties like housing the beautiful Purple Martin birds, which migrate every year from Brazil to his garden. A super fun experience to watch.
