Hey! Four years ago, the "Postwar" channel was created! When I recorded the first episode, I didn't expect my videos to garner a large audience. I wanted to reach at least one person and tell them about what I'm most passionate about: history after 1945. The premiere episode focused on the losses in Europe after World War II. At that time, I devoted little time to Poland. I focused on foreign countries. In conjunction with the anniversary of my channel's founding, I decided to expand this topic to include our homeland. Poland was massively devastated after the war. Experts estimate the losses caused by the war's cataclysm at over $700 billion (in today's money). In the latest episode of the "Postwar" series, I attempt to show the scale of the destruction from many different perspectives. How many businesses disappeared? What happened to the economy, culture, and, above all, society? What was Poland like in 1945? You'll find out in my latest film.
