Searching For Janet Walsh Potentially Solves Homicide Case

Joined by Doug Bishop of United Search Corp. (USC), we continued our search for Janet Walsh. Janet went missing on January 19th, 2020 in her 2018 Chevy Trax. Having searched so much of Pittsburgh’s three rivers, we expanded our search area. Searching For Janet Walsh Potentially Solves Homicide Case This led us to Lake Arthur, located in the Moraine State Park. We entered the water and began our search. Within the first 30 minutes of searching, we came across an upside-down vehicle near the spillway. Not wanting to draw attention on this populated day, we chose to dive it a little later in the day and continued to search. Not finding anything additional, we made our way back to where the vehicle was hidden beneath the water’s surface and Jacob geared up to begin the identification process. Once it was confirmed it was not the Chevy Trax we were hoping to find, the park rangers were contacted and we gave them the details of our find. Not wanting the vehicle to remain in the lake, they asked us to remove it. Lindsay and Jacob rigged the SUV and the tow company, Pry Towing, had it out quickly and smoothly. We were later informed that there was evidence of a homicide potentially taking place in the vehicle and it was under further investigation. We do hope this SUV brings answers and peace to a family, as we will continue to search for Janet, trying to do the same for them.
