I had been wondering why Khan hadn't been eating much food for the past few days, but while looking around, I eventually confirmed the reason. I discovered the carcass of a rabbit that Khan had hunted himself, and he had already devoured most of it over the course of two days. It was a scene that clearly demonstrated how the wild nature of a Jindo dog, particularly its hunting instinct, manifests. However, since this instinct cannot be left unchecked in an environment where they live with humans, I am currently keeping Khan tied up separately while allowing the others to roam freely in their kennels, combining control and management. On the other hand, because Khan had not had a proper space of his own for a while, I utilized discarded materials and existing supplies to provide a minimal doghouse that can shelter him from the rain and sun. It is not yet a finished product, but I decided that creating a basic environment where Khan can rest was the priority. Additionally, I injured my hand while working outside, so filming outdoor walks will be difficult for the time being. Therefore, I ask for your understanding regarding the fact that the video mainly focuses on the kennels. This incident has prompted me to reflect once again on how to understand the wild nature of Jindo dogs and how to manage them. Khan is not a dog with problems, but rather one with strong, living instincts. Rather than suppressing those instincts, I will continue to demonstrate how to handle them within a framework where they can live alongside humans.
