However, following the prompt: "How can you checkout the files of a previous commit?", we learn that Git is a time machine! What will you learn in this video? 🧠Repository Analysis: Checking repository status and logs using git log. 🔍Time Travel with Git: How to see what changed in the past using git show. ⚙️Extracting Flags: Finding the picoCTF{g17_r3m3mb3r5_d4ddf904} flag hidden within a commit message or file change. Git never actually deletes anything as long as the .git folder still exists.
