Rio de Janeiro 1977 archive footage

Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting Brazil in 1977. It contains stock footage of Rio de Janeiro: (00:00 - 00:36) footage of the streets of Rio (curiosity: at 00:18 a white and red bus numbered 48005: it is a 415 - Usina - Leblon line); (00:37) Praia de Botafogo; (01:13 - 02:09) tour to Santa Teresa neighborhood and then climbing to Corcovado hill. Santa Teresa was a very interesting place to visit, but nowadays it's too dangerous to go there. At 1:42 footage of Santa Teresa trams and station; trams were refurbished then and they are a bit different today from those shown in the footage; (02:14 - 05:05) several panoramas from atop Corcovado hill, along with portraits of people visiting Christ the Redeemer statue; (06:25 - 09:11) views of Ipanema and Leblon Beaches and Copacabana; (09:12 - 10:06) a night music show with singers and dancers.
