The part itself is cheap, so I think you can replace it with a heat gun and some determination. I used alcohol to clean the double-sided tape left on the LCD screen, but it got into the LCD screen and failed. I think it's best to just clean it up and then glue it down with B7000. I'm satisfied because I was able to solve the problem of the home button not feeling good to press.
