A Life of More Than Appearance

What was designed to be a house of prayer for all nations had become a marketplace. Jesus overturns the tables and reminds His people that He Himself is the true temple, the access point between God and humanity. Worship was never meant to be a transaction or a performance. It was meant to be a genuine encounter with the living God. When the disciples see the fig tree withered from the roots up the next morning, Jesus does not tell them to try harder. He says, have faith in God. True fruitfulness comes not from more effort but from deeper trust.
