Seeley Norton in F750 Race, Road America, June 10, 2012

Racing my Seeley Norton in the Formula 750 Race with AHRMA at the very fast and scenic Road America, Elkhart Lake, WI, June 10, 2012. A great dogfight between John Ellis, #5X (Yamaha XS750), Chris Spargo, #19 (Yellow Helmet, Yamaha RD) and myself. Spargo got the holeshot, then I took the lead for a lap or so, then Ellis proved he was king of the late braking. Elllis, in black with 5X on his back, yellow bike, is a former flat track pro and a damn good racer. Spargo has a neon yellow helmet and a ring-a-ding 2-stroke that goes like a missle. My camera quit about 3/4s through the race, and shortly thereafter I missed a shift and lost a bit of ground. This was indeed a no-mistake race, and unfortunately I made one. In the end, Spargo got the win, with Ellis 2nd and me in a close third. Didn't matter... it was one of the best races of my time, and it was anyone's to take home. -Kenny Cummings NYC www.nycnorton.com
