2009 Volvo S60 Transmission Fluid Change at 181,000 Miles

2009 Volvo S60 Transmission Fluid Change at 181,000 Miles. That's right, 181,000 miles!!! I've owned this car since 42,000 miles and the transmission fluid has never been changed in all that time. I've never had any troubles with it, no no leaks, no issues at all. So, I decided it's finally time to change it. This is NOT a full drain and purge. This just drains what is in the transmission pan to get fresh fluid in it's place. If this is done regularly in a car, then you should not have any problems. The fluid in this transmission was still actually in really good shape with all those miles on it. It wasn't burned and showed no signs of overheating at all, which is a testament to the Volvo tranny and cooling system. Short disclaimer here, I am NOT a mechanic.
