Last moments of Realm Royale (shutdown)

Thank you for all the memories Realm. I will write a short little story here if anyone is interested in my story. I remember owning an old laptop, Fortnite booming and not being able to play. In search of something to do, I began looking at "Fortnite knockoffs" and found Realm, little did I know at this time, that this game would be the best fun I'd ever have in a Battle Royale game. Ever. I have a bad memory, but can still recall faint memories of my parents dropping me off at my grandmas house because they had work. All I would do is get my laptop and hop on Realm. Every single hour of every single day of my free time was spent trying to achieve a Crown Royale, which I never got, but that made it so much more special. I was hellbent on trying to improve and get the win. Fast forward a couple of years and now I'm in high school and in a dark place in life. What gave me motivation to keep going was Realm in the beginning. I wanted to get into an ESports clan SO BAD that I went on to play roughly ~10 hours every single day and stream my progression. These streams are since then, lost sadly, but the memories and screenshots remain. This game has been my go to for fun multiplayer games alongside TF2 for over 6, heck, almost 7 years. It has been installed on every device I have owned that ran it, and I clocked in over 330 hours on my main account, and several hundred more on console accounts. Fast forward to today. I have another, although part-time job that is based in game development / programming. Realm basically shaped me, and my love for gaming. Thank you all for the memories, and I really, really hope I'll see you guys in the Realm when the private servers drop. :)
