This time, we stayed at "Yutoriro Garden Kitakaruizawa with DOGS," a dog-friendly accommodation in Kitakaruizawa, located in Tsumagoi Village, Gunma Prefecture, on April 8th, 2026 (Wednesday), for a cost-effective price of 7,680 yen per person per night with breakfast included. We made the reservation through Yahoo! Travel. We received a discount (10,200 yen off), and the total cost for a dog-friendly room, 3 people, 1 night with breakfast (buffet) was 22,580 yen (including dog accommodation and tax) + a 450 yen hot spring tax paid on-site. This came to 7,680 yen per person. For dinner, we bought food from the excellent Nagano supermarket "Tsuruya" and ate it in our room. This was also good! The hotel is closed during the winter months from January to March, but reopens in April, and the basic rates seem to be relatively low.
