From Faded Wrap to Factory Black | Porsche Cayman 987 Transformation

After nearly a decade of ownership, it was finally time to remove the aging vinyl wrap and bring back the original factory Porsche black paint underneath. Over the course of 14 days, I carefully removed the old wrap, restored the paint, refinished trim pieces, and brought the car back to a condition that better reflects the way it left the factory. What started as a simple wrap removal quickly turned into a rewarding restoration project. This Porsche Cayman has given me countless memories over the years, both on the road and in the garage. From weekend drives to DIY repairs and upgrades, it has been one of the most enjoyable cars I've ever owned. Shortly after completing the project, the car sold to its new owner. While it's bittersweet to see it go, I'm happy knowing it will continue its journey with someone who appreciates it as much as I did.
