Ástor Pantaléon Piazzolla - Oblivion Version for violin, double bass and piano It is now the second "Piazzolla-year" in a row. After celebrating composer's 100th birthday anniversary just recently in 2021, now in 2022 it will already be 30 years since the death of Ástor Piazzolla. My first tribute to his lifework (of three video uploads in total, planned or 2022) will begin with this beautiful, bittersweet, melancholic love song "Oblivion", composed in 1982. It is today one of the most popular Piazzolla's compositions. It gained big popularity when it was featured on the soundtrack of Marco Bellochio’s film Henry IV, the Mad King in 1984. I hope you will enjoy the piece. Please don't ask for the score. Music by Piazzolla is under copyright protection until 2063. I haven't purchased the licence to sell or share the score, thus there is no legal way I can do anything about it. Check for officially available editions instead. Thank you for understanding.
