Castelo de Glamis Escócia - O Mais Assombrado da Europa

Glamis is situated in the ancient county of Angus, on the east coast of Scotland. The land on which the castle stands has a history of notable fortifications and structures dating back to the 11th century, but the area has been inhabited for even longer. The first castle built on the site dates back to the 14th century and was built after the Lions family were granted land by King Robert II. The Lions are an ancient family of Anglo-Norman descent, who arrived in England in 1080 and later emigrated to Scotland in the 14th century, settling in Angus. One of the most prominent descendants of the family was Elizabeth Bowes, the Lioness mother of the late Queen Elizabeth II of England. However, it is the ghosts that we are here to talk about, not the structure, but as we will see throughout the story, the structure played a significant role in this. Glamys has had a reputation for being haunted for hundreds of years.
