The Medellín Metro is the subway-type urban rail transportation system of the metropolitan area of the Aburrá Valley in Antioquia, Colombia; it is composed of three rail lines, namely: two commercial service lines; line A and line B;2 and a feeder line: line C, which feeds line B and only provides commercial service on certain occasions. Together they total 34.52 kilometers. It has 27 stations in operation, all of which are adapted to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility. This transportation system is managed by the state-owned company Empresa de Transporte Masivo del Valle de Aburrá Ltda. It is part of the Aburrá Valley Integrated Transportation System (SITVA), together with the Metrocable, Metroplús, the Integrated Transportation System (SIT), and the Medellín Tramway.
