→ Join me on this hour-long flight between the only commercial airport within a US National Park and Denver! I had just flown in on the inaugural service to Jackson Hole from Minneapolis onboard Sun Country and it was very low overcast, but the clouds dissipated and hugged the Grand Tetons, making for an absolutely spectacular departure! The Evo-Blue engine made the pure white clouds pop even more! We begin at the push back from gate 9 at JAC and taxi to runway 19 for departure. Since this flight was barely half full, the climb out was aggressive... But the views! The views! The Grand Tetons really showed off their beauty today! As we climb out, we reduce thrust, making music to any avgeeks ears! We climb on runway heading for a while, then turn left heading 138, and fly over the rest of the state of Wyoming, before crossing into Colorado and initiating our final descent into Denver. Denver was working an arrival flow to the south, so we get vectors to land on runway 16R, of which our pilot absolutely greases the landing. We apply reverse thrust and slow down to exit on one of the high speeds off 16R and taxi to gate B25, where this short flight ends.
