Barcelona, ​​August 21 (EFE) - A Mossos d'Esquadra officer and his brother, who noticed that the current in the Cunit stream in Tarragona was sweeping away a car, saved the six passengers in the car—five children and a man—who could have drowned. It was last Saturday, the 15th, when a very intense storm hit, completely filling the stream with water. The car tried to cross it, but the water almost completely covered it, and the current carried it out to sea. The officer and his brother held onto a sidewalk sticking out of the water with one hand, while with the other, they freed two of the four children. By the time they tried to evacuate the third child, the car had moved, and the two men couldn't reach it with one hand. Seeing that the water continued to enter the car, the child climbed out the window and sank under the car. The two brothers searched for him and seconds later located him, grabbed him by the arm, and dragged him to the sidewalk. A girl was still holding a two-year-old boy in the back of the vehicle. Since the two men weren't reaching them, the Mosso's brother climbed onto the roof of the car, pulled out the two children, and handed them to the officer on the sidewalk.
