James Grant and Jody Wisternoff open the sampler with their remix of A. Silver Mt. Zion’s track ’13 Angels Standing Guard ‘Round The Side Of Your Bed’. After Jody recommended James to watch the hit Netflix series Top Boy, James fell in love with the track: “‘Angels Standing Guard’ provides the backdrop to one of the most poignant scenes in the show. The haunting vocals were crying out for a remix, so we were pretty chuffed to get our hands on the stems and to be able to include the mix on Anjunadeep 12”. Karmarin marks his Anjunadeep debut with ‘Selene’, an uplifting dance track leading with carefully crafted synths and fluctuating arpeggios. Closing the release, Argentina producer Ezequiel Arias returns to the label with his first solo Anjunadeep release ‘Solar’.
