I dropped in one raw recording, and Claude made every cut, trimmed the dead space, added the motion graphics, dropped in the dynamic elements, and burned in the captions. No After Effects. No timeline. No editor. I spent weeks building this thing and it's 100% custom. So in this video I break down the exact system, step by step, so you can build it yourself for free — or skip the building and grab the plug-and-play files inside my Skool (first link above). Here's the actual machine: Raw file → Rough Cut → Graphics → Second Pass → Captions + Music → Export. The rough-cut skill runs WhisperX for word-level timestamps, transcribes the whole video, cuts every filler word and dead pause, always keeps your last/best take, and polishes the audio. Then graphics get layered on with my saved brand presets (fonts, colors, animations all baked in). The part I'm most proud of: a custom render system that only re-renders the tiny part you changed instead of the whole video — which is what makes editing in Claude actually usable and roughly 10x faster. From there you fine-tune the graphics one by one in the Second Pass (this is what separates real editing from generic AI slop), auto-add perfectly-timed captions that fix the words AI always botches — "ChatGPT," "Hormozi," all of it — drop in background music, and export. You can stop in Claude or push the whole thing into Premiere with the Premiere MCP. Even if you've never coded or edited a video in your life, this tutorial walks you through every step. By the end you'll have Claude editing videos for you while you sleep.
