Discriminación por el color de la piel "Colorismo" en la Comunidad Afro-latina

Accepting that discrimination exists among Black people themselves based on skin color, or "colorism," is something many refuse to acknowledge, especially given the well-known negative effects of colorism on the Black community. Skin bleaching, low self-esteem among Black women, and social exclusion due to skin color are just some of the behaviors we all know. We can see skin color discrimination, or "colorism," in images in fashion magazines, beauty pageants, television programming, and major beauty contests, where there is a preference for lighter-skinned women (mulatto or biracial) over Black women. Colorism, or discrimination based on skin color, is a part of the Black community in Latin America and the Caribbean, particularly in the United States. Within the African American, Afro-Latinx, and Afro-Indigenous communities, colorism is a form of discrimination whose existence we must recognize in order to develop strategies for understanding and preventing it. #AfroLatino #BlackCommunity #AfricanAmericans To make a donation: https://www.paypal.me/Afrodescendientes Follow us on Facebook:   / losmulatos.net   Follow us on the web: https://www.losmulatos.com/
