The Week the World's Biggest LARP Turned Into a Swamp | Conquest of Mythodea (raw, extended)

Welcome to the most chaotic, emotional, and unforgettable week of my year – Conquest of Mythodea 2023, or as many of us will remember it, Conquest of MUDodea. In this nearly two-hour immersive documentary, follow me as I play Amun, High Priest of Anubis, through torrential rains, muddy roads that slowly transformed into swamp rivers, and soul-stirring rituals at the world’s largest LARP event. From the heart of the Viribus Unitis and its many smaller camps – including the Ulu Mulus and the eerie altars of the Chaos faction – this video captures the raw, unscripted experience of living a character for a full week: a journey of laughter, conflict, camaraderie, and the beautiful madness that only LARP can offer. You’ll follow muddy roads that slowly turn into rivers, witness soul-stirring rituals and moments of chaos, and enjoy mead-fuelled banter in the Zuber. Along the way, fiery camp circles blaze through the night, in-character songs echo through the mud-soaked fields, and scenes unfold without scripts or second takes – just pure, immersive storytelling in a world built from passion, fantasy, and the will to make it real.
