1955 Jaguar D-Type | Amazing History & Glorious Sound
The Jaguar D-Type was built with one goal in mind, to win the 24 hours of Le Mans. This prophecy was fulfilled, and then some, with three consecutive Le Mans titles from 1955-1957. This particular D-Type is the Ex-Plimley Motors car, raced by Jim Rattenbury and Starr Calvert in Canada. A massive thank you to William I'Anson for letting us film this wonderful piece of racing history. We hope you enjoy it!
