The Main Galleries: 1. Folk & Tribal Gallery – rich tribal art and everyday objects made with clay, bamboo, palm, metal, fabric, papier‑mâché  2. Bhuta Sculpture Gallery – large wooden Bhuta figures (spirit guardians from coastal Karnataka), often striking and spiritual  3. Ritual (Cultic) Craft Gallery – objects tied to religious and spiritual practices: temple models, votive lamps, incense burners, masks, and a large 18th-century chariot  4. Courtly Craft Gallery & Haveli Section – ornate courtly art and architecture, featuring carved facades, jewelry, textiles and decorative objects  5. Textile Gallery – a spectacular resource of India’s textile heritage: brocades, hand-woven saris, tribal embroideries, and looms on display  ⸻ 🛖 Village Complex & Living Crafts • The Village Complex, originally installed as the Rural India Complex for the 1972 Asia Trade Fair, features 15 life-size structures representing homes, shrines, and courtyards from different Indian states.
