Is One Day Enough for the Isle of Wight?

Join me as I head across the Solent for a day exploring the Isle of Wight. Starting in Ryde, I take the train to Sandown to explore the seafront, beach and pier before enjoying a well-earned pint overlooking the sea. From there, I walk the coastal path to Shanklin, taking in the views before heading up to the charming Old Village. With time running short, I return to Ryde for one last stroll along the beach before catching the ferry home. A simple day trip, plenty of walking, classic British seaside scenery and my first proper look at the Isle of Wight.
