Bullets by the Billions: Evansville Ordnance Answers the Call
This is a documentary that tell the story of Evansville Chrysler's contribution to the war effort during WWII. It was written and produced by students of the Feel the History class at F.J. Reitz High School in Evansville Indiana. They produces all parts of this finish product. When Evansville Chrysler became Evansville Ordnance, they manufactured 96% of all .45 caliber ammunition produced during WWII. They also made 30. caliber ammunition, reconditioned tanks, produced tank grouser, rebuild service truck and were producing incendiary bombs when the war ended.
