Bernina Gran Turismo 2021 Historic Hillclimb: Pantera Gr. 5, Galaxie 500, 155 V6 Ti, P1800 Cyan

It was really amazing to finally attend Bernina Gran Turismo, an event born in 2014 with the aim of keep the memory of the legendary Bernina hillclimb race of 1929 and 1930 alive, on the beautiful Bernina Pass in Switzerland. The event takes place on a section of the original route specifically closed to traffic, with the hilclimb course starting from La Rösa (1,871 m above sea level) and ending up on the actual Bernina Pass (2,328 m) after a total of 5.9 km. Participants can either register for the event in a competitive form or decide to participate in the regularity race, where the ranking is stipulated based on who manages to better respect the speed average set by organizers. For 2021 the cars with numbers from 1 to 18 were competing while all the others did the regularity race, plus a couple of cars doing some demo runs such as the Volvo P1800 by Cyan Racing or the Alfa 155 V6 Ti. There was also a group of historic motorcycles coming up the hill at the end of each heat. Hope you like it!
