Kisah Petta Lasinrang Bakka Lolona Sawitto | Pasukan Passiuno

Around 1903, the Sawitto War erupted, led by La Sinrang. At that time, a Dutch army of 20 armadas, or 600 men, fully equipped with weapons, was sent to Sawitto. Before the Dutch entered Jampue waters (Mattir Sompe District), La Sinrang ordered thousands of Sawitto local troops to defend the Jampue coast. Equipped only with traditional weapons such as badik (swords), spears, kanjai (swords), keris (swords), machetes, sharpened bamboo spears, and riloccos (a type of rifle), the troops were ready to await their prey with utmost vigilance. At that time, La Sinrang, as a war general, also formed a special force called "PASSIUNO" or Lappung, a force of brave assassins who never surrendered or retreated, similar to the kamikaze troops, embracing the teachings of bushido. For each area deemed strategic, a PASSIUNO force was formed, each led by a Tolok (brave man) drawn from the village. These tolok are given names derived from roosters, such as: Calabai Tungkena from Alitta, Korokorona from Madallo, Balibina from Kabellengan, Bori-borina Paleteang, Bilulqng Rakkona Lome, Koro Passena Lalabata, Cambang Balelena Wanuae, Bulusiruana Suppa. #pettalasinrang #bakkalolonasawitto #sawitto #pinrang #munkar #historyandculture Soundtrack: Pakki SSB BSF Instagram:   / eddie_munkar   Facebook:   / eddie.munkar   TikTok: www.tiktok.com/@eddie_munkar Click SUBSCRIBE (100% Free):    / munkar
