Indigenous Workers: Sam Wilkins

Before Christ, his life was marked by organised crime, violence, and darkness that had become normal. Then a brave Christian man shared the gospel with him clearly and directly, and everything changed. In this testimony, he recounts how he came to faith in Jesus Christ, the burden that now drives him to preach the gospel boldly in Gorgie, and the lasting impact of pleading with his father to repent and trust Christ before he died. His story is a sober reminder that the ground can be hard, but God is able to save, give new hearts, and bring true life through the power of the gospel. This video is part of RISE UP: Indigenous Workers, a campaign to support men and women who are serving on the ground in Scotland’s schemes and training to lead and plant churches in their own communities. Please pray for gospel fruit in places where the need is great, and consider partnering with us as we seek to raise $100,000 to support Indigenous Workers.
