Fly fishing in Northern Utah doesn’t get much better than this. Perfect weather, a steady breeze, active insect hatches, and trout feeding aggressively in shallow water created some of the best dry fly fishing conditions I’ve seen all season. With fish rising throughout the day and insects covering the water, every cast felt like it had the potential to connect with another beautiful trout. Wet wading through clear water while watching trout feed on the surface made for an unforgettable experience and one of my favorite days on the water this year.
