Japanese Origami Tato Step by Step Tutorial TATO is a very traditional Japanese Origami design. It is also called Coin Purse or an Octagon Envelope. My 5-year old daughter writes a secret message inside and sends them to her friends. She sometimes also put a little gift in there for me. Haha. I am sure you kids will come up with way more ways to use the Tato than us adults. Have fun! I am using standard size paper 15 cm x 15 cm / 6 inches x 6 inches.
