The High Court called intelligence officer Colonel KONGOLO MWANDA Médard, former security commander of General NUMBI, to the stand and confronted him with the defendant Doudou ILUNGA about their trip a few days after the assassination of Floribert CHEBEYA and his driver. Intelligence officer Colonel KONGOLO MWANDA Médard claimed to know nothing about the defendants' movements to the airport. The defendant Doudou ILUNGA persisted and maintained that the intelligence officer had come to pick them up at the defendant KENGA KENGA's house to take them to the residence of General John NUMBI before taking them to the airport. The High Court then confronted the intelligence officer with the defendants Jeancy and MIGABO, whose testimonies were consistent with that of the defendant Doudou ILUNGA.
