I Flew 1,445 Miles to attempt the most DIFFICULT Photography Technique

I had the opportunity to fly over one thousand miles to photograph the IndyCar Grand Prix of Monterey race at Laguna Secca. I brought the Canon R7 and the 70-300 F.4-5.6L lens with me to do some motorsport panning photography! Panning is a difficult photography technique in which the photographer uses a slow shutter, and pans the lens at the same speed as the subject is moving. This creates a subject which is sharp and in focus, while the background is blurred by motion. In this case, it makes the cars look FAST!
