Here is our review of the Ride1up Core-5. The Core-5 is a class 3 electric bike with pedal assist up to 28mph and thumb throttle up to 20mph. It has an integrated and removable 48v10.4 ah battery Converted to watt hours, this is a 500 watt hour battery that you can charge on or off the bike. It has a 750w rear hub motor with 60nm of torque and a cadence sensor to sense when you are pedaling and give you that assist. The Core-5 is equipped with 27.5 in wheels Kenda Kwick Seven.5 27.5” x 2.2 inch puncture resistant tires. It has Shimano 7 speed thumb shifter with 44T Front Alloy Chainring with Shimano 11-32T. The brakes are Tektro 160 mm Mechanical disc brakes. On the bars is a black and white LCD display to control PAS level and shows speed, distance, watts. The Ride1up Core-5 comes weighing in at 49lbs.
