Sedona Trip Day 8

Today was our last day in Sedona and it turned out to be a pretty good day. We drove to the Oak Creek Vista Overlook first and then to Slide Rock State Park, where we spent a couple of hours in the afternoon. We did a short hike first to an overlook of the Slide Rock Swim Area before we made our way down to the creek. We found a nice rock in the shade where we settled down. I spent my time sitting on that rock and taking videos of Randy sliding down the rock or cliff jumping. I ventured down to the creek once, where I sat on a rock and splashed some water on my leg, but I didn't go in all the way. My injury is pretty bad and I have to be very careful not to slip and fall. We left the park just after 4 o'clock. Dinner tonight was at Che Ah Chi at Enchantment Resort. The view from the terrace where we ate was breathtaking. When we were driving out from the resort, we saw a squadron of peccaries (also known as javelinas or skunk pigs) feasting under a tree. Needless to say, we stopped to take pictures and videos. There was even a baby among them. We've never seen peccaries before so this was a real treat.
