Jack Wright- Vietnam Veteran Interview

Jack Wright discusses his time in the Vietnam War where he served overseas for 10 months during his two year term. He recalls how after he left, a majority of his unit was killed and he struggled with survivors guilt. It was during his time in Vietnam that he started playing music and writing music to entertain the troops he was with. He discusses his worst days in the army that have haunted him since they happened and the regrets that he has about what he did and how he was traumatized by the events that he went through. Lastly, he talks about how he joined the anti-war movement after being home from the military for a few months and realizing how wrong he felt the war was and he participated in the moratorium on Washington D.C. to end the war.
