A Study Through Colossians (All of God, In Christ) | Lord's Day Service | 14th June 2026

In this sermon, Pastor Adeola Ogundele considered how the deity of Christ makes possible His preeminence in both creation and the church. We reflected on Colossians 1:19: “For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.” Christ is God the Son—the incarnate, exalted, and eternal God. He fully understands infinity, created all things and is beyond our comprehension. Simply put, Jesus is fully God—complete, lacking nothing, with nothing absent and nothing needing to be added. God acts only in and through Christ. Therefore, our response to this truth must be to submit every area of our lives to Him. We must strive to see Christ more clearly, love Him more deeply, and obey Him more completely. Above all, we must keep Christ at the centre of everything.
