Brutal police interrogation methods used by apartheid police was laid bare during the cross-examination of former police officer Paul Erasmus during the Ahmed Timol inquest in the High Court of Pretoria. Timol died while in police custody at the infamous John Vorster square in Johannesburg 46 years ago.Erasmus is testifying before the second sitting of the re-opened Ahmed Timol Inquest in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.
