ATS - Scraper Transport - San Francisco to Santa Maria, CA - 7/4/2026

A realistic transport of a 90,000 lb. Caterpillar scraper, starting in San Francisco and completing in Santa Maria, California. Used in the transportation is a Peterbilt 389, optioned as a flat roof sleeper cab tandem axle. Also optioned is a Cummins Gen II inline 6, rated at 620 horsepower and 2,250 lb. ft. of torque mated to an Eaton Fuller 18 speed manual transmission. In real life, an oversize hauling permit would be required since the overall weight would end up exceeding 80,000 lbs., and a pilot car would likely be required as well.
