Cardiologia territoriale e medicina di genere: le nuove sfide della prevenzione cardiovascolare

The 27th ARCA National Congress highlighted the most current issues in modern cardiology, from heart failure management to cardiovascular prevention and gender-specific medicine. Today, understanding the pathophysiological differences between men and women is crucial to improving diagnosis, access to care, and appropriate treatment, especially for cardiovascular diseases. In this context, outpatient cardiology plays a strategic role in primary prevention, patient follow-up, and continuity of care between hospital and community. We discussed this with Dr. Giovanni Zito, President of ARCA – Regional Associations of Outpatient Cardiologists, at the 27th ARCA National Congress.
