Heat Transfer - Chapter 1 - Example Problem 3 - Equating conduction and convection at a surface
Heat transfer example problem. In this problem, we do a surface energy balance to equate conduction into the surface to convection leaving the surface. We apply Fourier's Law to quantify the rate of conduction heat transfer and Newton's Law of Cooling to quanity the rate of convection heat transfer.
