Enable & Disable Valet Mode Viper Remote Model: 7756V System Model: 5706V w/o getting in the vehicle
Remote: Viper Model: 7756V System Model: 5706V I made a previous video showing how to enable and disable Valet mode, but you needed to be in your vehicle in order to do this. Luckily Kythera saw my video and commented telling me how to do this without getting in my car! All I need is my viper key fob. It is a bit finicky, but it works. If it doesn't work the first time, wait a second and try again. So in this video, I'll show you how to enable and disable System Valet. Don't mind the black spot on my remote, it still works. Headphone users, sorry about the background noise. This is now my mom's vehicle and I only have access to the key while visiting her in the city... and cities are not quiet. To enable/disable Valet Mode, all you need is your viper key fob. If you have a different viper key fob, I want to know if this helps you and other people. It can't hurt to try it! I want to know if it works AND if it doesn't. This will help others to know if it will work for them or not. To ENTER Valet Mode and disable the ability to arm your system's alarm, follow these steps: 1) Press the function key twice. 2) Press the unlock button once. You'll see on the screen "System Valet On" You'll see that the lock on the remote has turned from black to white (not filled in) and when you press the lock, it only makes noise on the remote, no horn beeping. The remote also says Valet when you press lock or unlock. It is no longer armed. It has entered Valet mode and won't alarm. To EXIT Valet Mode and re-enable the ability to arm your system's alarm, repeat the same steps: 1) Press the function key twice. 2) Press the unlock button once. You'll see on the screen "System Valet Off" You'll see that the lock on the remote has turned from white to black (filled in) and when you press the lock, it makes noise on the remote and you hear your car horn beep as well. It is now able to be armed. It is no longer in Valet mode. Don't forget to lock your door, it unlocks when you take it out of Valet mode. That is how to enable and disable Valet Mode on the Viper Remote Start System that uses the remote Model: 7756V I really hope this helps you! Have a great day! P.S. I still hope I can get back to making VR videos again... I'm unable to set up my vr system while travel nursing. I hope you all understand. I made a post on my YT Comment Section explaining as well.
