Breast Cancer Risk - Tyrer-Cuzick
The Tyrer-Cuzick assessment score, often included in mammogram results, helps determine breast cancer risk. A score of 20% or above indicates high risk, warranting an MRI every six months in addition to mammograms. You may have a totally normal mammogram report (category 1), and still be at high risk and miss out on getting your recommended MRI screen.
