Introducción a la Ley 21.331, conceptos a la base de la ley

Forums on the Recognition and Protection of the Rights of Individuals in Mental Health Care A diverse panel of experts in health and research, representing various higher education institutions and organizations related to psychiatry and mental health, will participate in a series of forums analyzing the implications of Law 21.331, "On the Recognition and Protection of the Rights of Individuals in Mental Health Care." The objective of these sessions is to contribute to the development of regulations stemming from Law 21.331 by analyzing its implications; to identify the elements of Law 21.331 that will need to be incorporated through modifications to existing regulations (regulatory harmonization); to evaluate the implications of applying Law 21.331 for the public and private institutions involved in its implementation; and to provide a forum for discussing the key elements that justify the need for a framework law on mental health, as proposed by civil society organizations. Target audience: Academics in the fields of health, social sciences, administration, and law; students of health, social sciences, public administration, and law; professionals from the Regional Health Authorities (SEREMIs); professionals and technicians from Health Services; members of scientific societies; members of professional associations; civil society organizations; public and private institutions working on related issues; and citizen organizations. The sessions will be held on Tuesdays, between July 6 and August 31, at 5:30 p.m. and will be broadcast via the University's YouTube channel.
