Welcome to Abersoch, one of the most popular seaside destinations in North Wales and a place often described as the jewel of the Llŷn Peninsula. Our walk begins along the coastline, where we're immediately rewarded with stunning views across Cardigan Bay. On a clear day, the mountains of Snowdonia rise in the distance, creating a spectacular backdrop to one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Wales. Abersoch has become famous for its beaches, sailing, and relaxed holiday atmosphere. Unlike many traditional seaside towns, it has a slightly more exclusive feel, attracting visitors from across the UK who come here to enjoy the sea, the scenery, and the slower pace of life. As we continue along the waterfront, it's easy to understand why so many people fall in love with this place. Leaving the coast behind, we head into the upper streets of the village. Here Abersoch reveals a quieter side of its character. As our walk continues, the scenery constantly changes. One moment we're looking out across the sea, the next we're surrounded by quiet residential lanes and glimpses of everyday village life. Abersoch may be known as a holiday destination, but it's much more than just a beach resort.
